HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES FINANCE COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Dean, Chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:52pm on April 5th, 2016, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Dean called the meeting to order at 12:52pm, a quorum was present.

Representative Pierson moved approval of the March 30th, 2016 and March 31st, 2016 minutes. The motion PREVAILED. The minutes were APPROVED.

Representative Dean moved that HF 3249 be laid over.

Representative Dean; Jeri Jasken, Director of Behavioral Health, White Earth; and Laurie York, Program Director, White Earth Indian Child Welfare all presented on HF 3249.

Representative Dean renewed his motion that HF 3249 be laid over. The Motion PREVAILED.

Representative Dean moved that HF 3248 be laid over.

Representative Dean; Bill Haas; Jeri Jasken, Director of Behavioral Health, White Earth; and Laurie York, Program Director, White Earth Indian Child Welfare all presented on HF 3248.

Representative Dean renewed his motion that HF 3248 be laid over. The Motion PREVAILED.

Representative Zerwas moved that HF 3277 be laid over.

Representative Zerwas; Bryan Lindsley, MSPWin; Jim Durdle, Goodwill-Easter Seals; and Louis King, Summit Academy all presented on HF 3277.

Representative Zerwas renewed his motion that HF 3277 be laid over. The Motion PREVAILED.

Representative Pierson assumed the gavel at 1:15pm.

Representative Zerwas moved that HF 978 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Zerwas and Joy Larsen Haidle, Minnesota Genetic Counselors Association, presented on HF 978.

Representative Zerwas renewed his motion that HF 978 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. The Motion PREVAILED.

The meeting adjourned at 1:40pm.
