HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES FINANCE COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Dean, Chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:04pm on March 12th, 2015, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Dean began the meeting at 12:48pm, a quorum was NOT present.

A quorum was present at 12:55pm. The meeting was called to order at 12:58pm.

Representative Pierson moved approval of the March 11th, 2015 minutes. The motion PREVAILED. The minutes were APPROVED.

Representative Zerwas moved that HF 522 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill.

Representative Zerwas; Pam Johnson, MN Community Action Partnership; Jill Amundson, WCMCA FAIM Coach; Elizabeth Thompson, FAIM Business Owner, all presented on HF 522.

Representative Zerwas renewed his motion that HF 522 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill. The motion PREVAILED.

Representative Hamilton moved that HF 1054 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill.

Representative Hamilton; Justin Vorbach, Southwest Minnesota Continuum of Care Coordinator; Sue Abderholden, NAMI; Mary Chung, Solid Ground, all presented on HF 1054.

Representative Hamilton renewed his motion that HF 1054 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill. The motion PREVAILED.

Representative Dean moved that HF 581 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill.

Representative Wills; Marie Ellis, Catholic Charities Twin Cities; Jenny Erdman, Lakes and Pines Community Action; Francie Mathes, Office of Economic Opportunity, MN DHS, all presented on HF 581.

Representative Hamilton renewed his motion that HF 581 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill. The motion PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:55pm.
