HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES FINANCE COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Dean, Chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:55pm on February 25th, 2015, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Dean began the meeting at 12:51pm, a quorum was NOT present.

A quorum was present at 12:52pm. The meeting was called to order at 12:55pm.

Representative Pierson moved approval of the February 25th, 2015 minutes. The motion PREVAILED. The minutes were APPROVED.

Representative McDonald moved that HF 576 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill.

Representative McDonald; Jonathan Watson, MN Association of Community Health Centers;
Jinny Johnson, MN Association of Community Health Centers; Jennifer Theneman, Open Door Health Center, Mankato; and Dr. Roli Dwivedi, Community-University Health Care Center, Minneapolis, all presented and testified on HF 576.

Representative McDonald renewed his motion that HF 576 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill.

Representative Persell moved that HF 699 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill.

Representative Persell moved the A1 amendment. The motion PREVAILED.

Representative Persell moved the following oral amendment: Page 1, line 8, delete “Safety” and insert “Primary Care”. The motion PREVAILED.

Representative Persell and Joseph Beaudreau, Leech Lake Ambulance, presented and testified on HF 699.

Representative Persell renewed his motion that HF 699, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:50pm.
