MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:49 P.M. on March 3, 2015, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davids moved that the minutes of February 25, 2015 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF953 (O'Driscoll)
Mortgage foreclosure by advertisement publication requirements clarified.

Representative O’Driscoll moved that HF953 be re-referred to the Civil Law Committee.

Representative O’Driscoll moved to adopt the H0953A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Crowdfunding transactions provided an exemption from securities regulation.

Representative Loon moved that HF328 be re-referred to the Government Operations Committee.

Representative Loon moved to adopt the A15-0096 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Lawful gambling tax rate reduced.

Representative Atkins moved that HF1185 be re-referred to the Taxes Committee.
