COMMERCE AND REGULATORY REFORM COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, began the meeting at 2:50 PM on March 25, 2015 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present at 3:08 PM and the meeting was called to order.

HF898 (Backer)
Border cities authorized to adopt changes to the State Building Code.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF898 be re-referred to the Job Growth and Energy Affordability Policy and Finance Committee.

Chair Hoppe moved the H0898A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Swedzinski moved to approve the March 24, 2015 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 2075 (Theis)
St. Cloud; intoxicating liquor license authorized for a municipal athletic complex.

Representative Theis moved that HF2075 be re-referred to the General Register.

HF1625 (Loonan)
Commissioner of commerce's powers modified, diesel fuel advertisement sign requirements clarified, ethanol flex fuel definition modified, and fuel standard references updated.

Representative Loonan moved that HF1625 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Smith moved the H2009A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Swedzinski moved the H1257A5 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
