MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, began the meeting at 2:47 PM on March 17, 2015 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present at 2:49 PM and Chair Hoppe called the meeting to order.

Representative Swedzinski moved to approve the March 11, 2015 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED

HF954 (Schomacker)
Long-term care insurance partnership policy minimum permitted inflation protection reduced and permission of inflation protection continued.

Chair Hoppe moved to re-refer HF954 to the General Register.

HF921 (Schomacker)
Long-term care savings plan provided and income tax subtraction for contributions made to long-term care savings plan provided.

Chair Hoppe moved to re-refer HF921 to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee.

Representative Schomacker testified on HF921.

Chair Hoppe renewed the motion to re-refer HF921 to Health and Human Services Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1246 (Mack)
Telemedicine for health carriers and medical assistance coverage required.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF1246 be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee.

Chair Hoppe moved the H1246A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Representative Davids assumed the gavel at 3:00 PM.

Chair Hoppe assumed the gavel at 3:02 PM.
