MINUTES

Representative Erin Murphy, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 11:46 AM on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Benson moved approval of the Thursday, February 21, 2013 minutes.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

Chair Erin Murphy moved that HF 721 be re-referred to the Transportation Finance Committee and that subsequent actions on this bill under rule 2.03 of the Joint Rules be waived.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Erin Murphy moved that HF 724 be re-referred to the Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee and that subsequent actions on this bill under rule 2.03 of the Joint Rules be waived.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Erin Murphy moved that HF 729 be re-referred to the Jobs and Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee and that subsequent actions on this bill under rule 2.03 of the Joint Rules be waived.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

  • HF721 (Hornstein) - Governor's transportation budget established; transportation money appropriated; fund transfers, tort claims, and revenue bond issuance authority provided; transportation economic development account and metropolitan area transit sales and use tax established; trunk highway expenses clarified; grade crossing safety account modified; and exemptions made.
  • HF724 (Paymar) - Omnibus public safety finance bill.
