MINUTES

Representative Hilstrom, Chair of Committee on Judiciary Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 18, 2013 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep. Johnson, S. moved approval of the minutes from Wednesday, April 10 2013.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

Rep. Bly moved HF 338 (Bly), eminent domain provisions modified with respect to electric power utilities, and property rights ombudsman established, to be passed and sent to the General Register.

Rep. Bly moved to amend HF 338 (Bly) with the H0338A6 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF 338 (Bly), as amended, eminent domain provisions modified with respect to electric power utilities, and property rights ombudsman established.

The following people testified regarding HF 338 as amended:
Kirk Schnittker, attorney
David Minar, organic farmer from New Prague
Dan Lesher, CapX2020 project staff member

Rep. Bly renewed his motion that HF 338 be passed as amended and sent to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:31 p.m.
