MINUTES

Representative Nelson, Chair of Committee on Government Operations, called the meeting to order at 10:03am on February 20, 2013 in Room B of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

HD409 (Norton) Medical center development authority established and organization, powers, and duties provided for; medical center development districts provided for; bonds and state assistance authorized; tax increment financing provided for within a medical center development district; funding provided; bonds issued; and money appropriated.

Chair Nelson moved that HF409 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Capital Investments.

Chair Nelson laid the bill on the table for future consideration.

Chair Nelson moved to reconsider HF155. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Nelson renewed the motion that HF155 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.

Representative Drazkowski moved to amend HF155 (See attached H0155DE2 amendment)

Representative Freiberg requested a roll call vote.

THERE WERE 5 AYES AND 7 NAYS. THE MOTION FAILED.

Representative Kahn moved to amend HF155 (See attached H0155A1 amendment). THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Nelson renewed the motion that HF155, as amended, be recommended to pass and placed on General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:37am.
