MINUTES

Representative Lesch, Chair of Committee on Civil Law, called the meeting to order at 8:20 AM February 20, 2013 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Allen moved February 19, 2013 minutes. Motion prevailed. Minutes approved.

HF 410 (Hilstrom) Crime victim's estate authorized to request or enforce an order for restitution.

Representative Hilstrom moved amendment H0410A1. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Representative Hilstrom presented her bill.

Representative Hilstrom moved HF 410 be recommended to pass, as amended and be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Policy. The motion prevailed.

HF 129 (Sanders) Mortgage foreclosures regulated and foreclosure consultant definition clarified.

Representative Sanders moved HF 129 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Policy. The motion prevailed.

Chair Lesch assumed gavel at 8:54 AM.

HF 483 (Fritz) Newborn screening required for critical heart disease.

Representative Hilstrom moved HF 483 be passed and recommended to the committee on Health and Human Services Finance. The motion prevailed.

Chairman Lesch moved amendment H0483A1. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Representative Scott moved an oral amend to H0483A1 to remove "…and the establishment of a CCHD registry;" on page 1, line 1.12. The motion did not prevail.

Representative Hilstrom renews her motion to move HF 483 be to pass as amended and be referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee. The motion prevailed.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 AM.
