Representative Hausman, Chair of Committee on Capital Investment, called the meeting to order on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 8:15 a.m. in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Discussion of HF 833 (Fischer) and HF 592 (Winkler) conveyance issues

HF 592 (Winkler) Perpich Center for Arts Education authorized to operate a voluntary integration magnet school, staff and facilities transferred, funding formulas modified and money appropriated.

HF 833 (Fischer) Harambee community school transfer from the East Metro Integration District to the Roseville school district clarified.

Superintendent John Thein, Roseville area schools spoke to these bills.

Rep. Hausman moved amendment 592A4. Motion prevailed and the 592A4 amendment was adopted.

Rep. Hausman moved amendment 833A3. Motion prevailed and the 833A3 amendment was adopted.


Rep. Matt Dean moved approval of the minutes of March 21, 2013. Motion prevailed. The minutes were approved.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:50 a.m.
