MINUTES

Representative Holberg, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:02 A.M. on January 30, 2012, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Kiffmeyer moved to approve the minutes from the committee meeting on May, 18, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

SF149 (Ortman): Omnibus torts bill.

Representative Holberg moved SF 149 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Representative Holberg moved the A12-0560 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Testifying on SF 149, as amended:

Representative Holberg renewed her motion that SF 149, as amended, be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
