MINUTES

Representative Beard, Chair of the Transportation Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:35 P.M. on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Nelson moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 14, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF906 (Rukavina) Commissioner of transportation decision required on alternative route for State Highway 53.

H0906 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Transportation Finance Bill.

HF808 (Anderson) Driver's license applicants allowed $2 donation for public information and education on anatomical gifts, and money appropriated.

Representative Kiel moved that H0808 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Kiel moved the H0808A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Kiel renewed her motion that H0808 be recommended to pass, as amended, and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF880 (Vogel) Special overweight permits authorized for hauling construction aggregate.
