STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE

MINUTES

Representative Lanning, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:19 a.m. on April 13, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hayden was excused.

A quorum was present.

Representative Urdahl moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on April 12, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Downey moved that HF 1234 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Downey and Kent Allin, Chief Procurement Officer for the Department of Administration testified on HF 1234.

Representative Kahn moved that HF 1234 be amended as follows: Page 2, Line 2.4 strike "shall" and insert "may" after the word "administration." THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Downey moved that HF 1234 be recommended to pass, as amended, and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:39 a.m.
