STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE

MINUTES

Representative Lanning, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:33 a.m. on March 10, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

All members were present.

Commissioner Spencer Cronk; Nicky Giancola, Assistant Commissioner for Facilities; and Dave Fielding Director of Plant Management presented a budget overview of the Department of Administration.

Tom Baumann, LEAN Program Coordinator for the Department of Administration.

A quorum was present.

Representative Kahn moved that the minutes from the committee meetings on March 8, 2011, and March 9, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Lanning moved HF 886.

Cathie Perrault, Executive Director of the Northstar Problem Gambling Alliance and Don Feeney, Research and Planning Director for the Minnesota State Lottery testified on HF 886.

Representative Kahn moved that HF 886 be amended as follows: Line 1.11 strike "complimentary" and insert "complementary".

Chair Lanning incorporated the Kahn oral amendment into HF 886.

Chair Lanning laid over HF 886, as amended, for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance Committee omnibus bill.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:06 a.m.
