GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS AND ELECTIONS

MINUTES

Representative Peppin, Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:16 a.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

No members were excused.

A quorum was present.

The committee heard a presentation on state rulemaking.

Chair Peppin invited the committee members and staff to introduce themselves.

The committee heard a presentation on committee jurisdiction over local government issues.

The committee heard a presentation on committee jurisdiction over election issues.

Chair Peppin presented the committee rules.

Representative Nelson assumed the gavel at 11:07 a.m.

Representative Peppin presented for informational purposes HF 52: City, county, and town zoning control and ordinance variances provided.

Chair Nelson moved that HF 52 be laid over for future consideration.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:26 a.m.
