GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS AND ELECTIONS

MINUTES

Representative Peppin Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:18 a.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Quam moved approval of the minutes from February 10, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WHERE APPROVED.

H.F. 206 (Dittrich) Permanent School Fund Avisory Committee membership modified.

Representative Scalze moved that H.F. 206 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.

Representative Scalze moved that H.F. 206 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED, AND H.F. 206 WAS RECOMMENDED TO PASS.

H.F. 299 (Quam) Executive branch agency retained savings program established.

Representative Quam moved that H.F. 299 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on State Government Finance.

Representative Quam moved the H0299DE3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Quam renewed his motion that H.F. 299, as amended, be recommended to pass, as-amended, and re-referred to House Committee on State Government Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND H.F. 299 WAS RECOMMENDED TO PASS AS-AMENDED AND RE-REFERRED TO THE COMMITTEE ON STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:25 a.m.
