MINUTES

Representative Garofalo, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m. on March 3, 2011, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Peterson moved that the minutes of the Joint Meeting of Education Finance and Education Reform of February 28, 2011 be adopted.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Ward moved that the minutes of March 1, 2011 be adopted.

HF355 (Kiffmeyer) Home school mandates reduced, and superintendents relieved of reporting requirements.

Representative Garofalo moved that HF355 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus education finance bill.

Representative Garofalo moves the H0335A3 amendment to HF355.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chairman Garofalo adjourned the meeting at 2:06 p.m.
