MINUTES

Representative Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:29 p.m., on March 9, 2011, in the basement hearing room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

DITTRICH, Denise was absent.
A quorum was present.
Representative Crawford moved to approve the minutes for March 8, 2011. The motion prevailed.
Representative Mazorol moved that SF0194 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Civil Law Committee.
Representative Mazorol introduced SF0194.
Gene Hennig from MN Law commissioners testified.
Representative Mazorol renewed his motion. The motion prevailed.
Representative Hoppe handed the gavel to Representative Sanders at 2:50.
Representative Hoppe reintroduced HF0657.
Peter Bergland from Shoreview, MN, testified.
Randy Levy from WeFest and Rose Presents testified.
Representative Hoppe renewed his motion that HF0657 be recommended to pass as amended and referred to the General Register. The motion prevailed.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:03:18 p.m.
