MINUTES

Representative Hamilton, Chair of the Agriculture & Rural Development Policy & Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:20 a.m. on April 28, 2011, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Hansen moved that the minutes of April 27, 2011 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1472
Representative Torkelson moved that HF 1472 and that it be held over for possible inclusion in an Ag Policy bill.

Representative Paul Anderson moved to temporarily suspend the rules in order to hear bills and amendments. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Testifying on HF 1472 were:

Representative Torkelson renewed his motion to lay HF 1472 over for possible inclusion.


HF 1509
Representative Torkelson moved HF 1509 and that it be held over for possible inclusion in an Ag Policy bill.
Representative Torkelson moved the A11-0369 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hansen moved to amend the A11 - 0369 amendment on line 4.14 by inserting "involved" after "the" and before "local." THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Torkelson renewed his motion that HF 1509 as amended be held over for possible inclusion.


HF 1122
Representative Paul Anderson moved HF 1122 and that it be held over for possible inclusion.
Representative Paul Anderson moved amendment H1121 DE1. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Paul Anderson moved an oral amendment to the H1121 amendment to strike "1121" on line 1.1 and insert "1122."
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Paul Anderson withdrew his original motion.
Representative Paul Anderson moved that HF 1122 pass as amended and be sent to the General Register and that it also be held over for possible inclusion. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 1121
Chair Hamilton moved that HF 1121 pass and be sent to the General Register.
Representative Hamilton moved amendment HFH1121 DE1, the original amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Hamilton renewed his motion that HF 1121 pass as amended and be sent to the General Register and be held over for possible inclusion. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 467
Chair Hamilton moved HF 467 to pass and be re-referred to Ways and Means.
Chair Hamilton moved an oral amendment to HF 467 to strike on line 1.13 the words "The commissioner may sell, for profit, produce" and to strike on line 1.14 the words "that cannot be donated." THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Hamilton renewed his motion that HF 467 pass as amended and be re-referred to Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
