MINUTES


Representative Mahoney, Chair of the Bioscience and Workforce Development Policy and Oversight Division called the seventeenth meeting to order at 10:35 A.M. on March 11, 2009 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Mahoney moved HF744 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Higher Education and Workforce Development Policy and Finance Division.

Representative Mullery presented HF744, a bill relating to

employment; appropriating money for a transitional employment training project

Testifying on HF744 were:

Representative Mahoney renewed his motion that HF744 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Higher Education and Workforce Development Policy and Finance Division.
MOTION PREVAILED
Representative Obermuller assumed the Chair.

Representative Brynaert moved approval of the Minutes from the March 4, 2009 meeting
MINUTES ARE ADOPTED.

Representative Mahoney moved HF1081 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Higher Education and Workforce Development Policy and Finance Division.

Representative Mahoney presented HF1081, a bill relating to

expanding eligibility for the small business growth acceleration program

Testifying on HF1081 were:

Representative Mahoney renewed his motion that HF1081 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Higher Education and Workforce Development Policy and Finance Division.
