MINUTES


Representative Kent Eken, Chair of the Environment Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:39 PM, on February 25, 2010, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Drazkowski moved that the minutes from February 23, 2010 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Gardner moved HF2655 be recommended to pass and be referred to the General Register.

HF2655-Gardner
State building projects required to recycle at least 50 percent of project waste

Representative Gardner moved the H2655DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Gardener renewed the motion that HF2655, as amended, be recommended to pass to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Gardner moved SF1323 be recommended to pass and be referred to the Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight Committee.

Infectious waste control act modification

Representative Gardner moved the S1323A8 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Gardener renewed the motion that SF1323, as amended, be recommended to pass and referred to the Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Eken moved HF3027 be recommended to pass and be referred to the General Register.

Mercury testing requirements amended for new incinerator units
