Rep. Rukavina moved adoption of the Higher Education and Workforce Development Policy and Finance Division Report for HF72. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE DIVISION REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Rukavina moved that HF72 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Rep. Norton presented HF72 (Norton) Lifelong learning account program established, tax credits allowed to employers and employees for contributions to lifelong learning accounts, funding provided and money appropriated.

Rep. Rukavina renewed the motion that HF72 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Hausman moved adoption of the Transportation Policy and Finance Division Report for HF619. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE DIVISION REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Hausman moved that SF757 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.

Rep. Hornstein presented HF619/SF757 (Hornstein) Public Safety Department authorized to collect fuel decal fee for International Fuel Tax Agreement, and cost of decal rule removed.


Pat McCormack, Director, Driver and Vehicle Services, Minnesota Department of Public Safety responded to questions regarding HF619/SF757.
