Representative Carlson, Chair of the Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at
6:34 P.M. on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Hausman moved adoption of the Capital Investment Finance Division Report for HF855, First Committee Engrossment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE DIVISION REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Hausman moved that HF855, First Committee Engrossment, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Rep. Hausman presented HF855, First Committee Engrossment (Hausman) Omnibus Capital Investment Bill.

Rep. Hausman moved that HF2134 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Rep. Hausman moved to amend HF2134. (See attached amendment H2134A1). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Hausman presented HF2134, as amended, (Hausman) Asset preservation for various state agencies and higher education facilities funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Rep. Hausman renewed the motion that HF2134, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Champion moved adoption of the Transportation Policy and Finance Division Report for HF1467, First Committee Engrossment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE DIVISION REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Champion moved that HF1467, First Committee Engrossment, be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Rep. Nelson presented HF1467, First Committee Engrossment (Nelson) Rail safe technology federal grant application directed.

Rep. Champion incorporated the following oral amendment to Amendment A09-0315, as follows:
